Physical and chemical properties:
Colorless and transparent, showing cubic octahedral crystal or monoclinic cubic crystal. Relative density 1.757 (20ºC). Melting point 92.5ºC. Dissolved in water. Easily soluble in hot water. Soluble in dilute acid. Insoluble in alcohol and aceton. The aqueous solution is acidic, and aluminum hydroxide colloid precipitates after hydrolysis. It loses crystal water by weathering in dry air. It loses 9 crystal water at 64.5ºC, and loses 12 crystal water when heated to 200ºC, turning into a white sponge-like anhydrous substance.
Package and Storage:
Packed in plastic woven bags lined with polyethylene plastic bags. Net weight of each bag is 25kg. It should be stored in a ventilated, dry and clean warehouse. The packaging is sealed and moisture-proof. Do not store or transport together with toxic or harmful substances. Protect from rain and sunlight during transportation. Be careful when loading and unloading to prevent packaging damage. In the event of a fire, water, sand, and various fire extinguishers can be used to put it out.
Application:
Used as film hardener, water purifier, mordant, sizing agent, tanning agent and food additives, etc.
